When you make a contribution, you deserve to know what you really helped to make happen. Here’s a step-by-step of what actually happens after you contribute to KanYini Earth.
The chain, honestly
Step one: Your contribution funds course development.
Your money doesn’t go towards overhead or marketing campaigns, it goes into building one of twelve clinically reviewed learning courses. Each course is designed by wellbeing professionals, grounded in research, aligned to ISO 45003:2021 (the international standard for psychosocial risk management), and built to be experienced by real people in real workplaces and communities.
The total cost to develop one course is approximately $13,000. That covers subject matter experts, clinical review, instructional design, content development including real-world scenarios and assessments, and the platform setup to deliver it.
This is the actual cost of building something that did not exist before your contribution.
Step two: That course reaches people who could not access it otherwise.
Most structured wellbeing courses in Australia cost between $220 and $300 per person. For an overwhelmed worker without a support network, a young person who does not know what they are feeling, a carer who is quietly burning out while looking after everyone else, that price is an insurmountable barrier.
KanYini Earth delivers these courses at a tenth of the market price. Your contribution is the reason that is possible.
Step three: Someone sits in a room and learns something that changes how they show up.
Not a lecture, or a video they click through on a Tuesday afternoon. A story-led learning experience where they enter a scenario they recognise. A colleague who has been withdrawing. A team meeting where something feels off and nobody addresses it. The silence after someone says something vulnerable.
For the first time, they practice what it actually feels like to say something instead of looking away. They might stumble, they might get it wrong, but they try again. And something shifts. Not a theory. An experience. One that rewires how they respond the next time the moment is real.
Step four: One person leaves that room different.
The next time a colleague goes quiet, they do not freeze. They do not change the subject. They do not send a generic "let me know if you need anything" message. They say something small and real: "I have noticed you have been quiet. I just wanted you to know I see you."
That sentence did not come from nowhere. It came from a course. That course came from development. That development came from your contribution.
Step five: That sentence changes a trajectory.
Maybe the colleague was three weeks from resigning. Maybe they were disappearing into silence and nobody had noticed. Maybe they were functioning perfectly on the outside and falling apart on the inside. One sentence. One moment of being seen. And the direction changes.
You will never meet that person. You will not see the room. You will not hear the conversation. But it happened because you decided it should.
What specific amounts actually do
$5. Helps at least five people come across a wellbeing resource they did not know existed. Discovery is the first step, and you’re funding that step.
$156. Gives one person full access to a complete wellbeing course, from start to finish. That is the cost of removing the wall for one human being.
$800. Builds one complete course module, including writing, designing, and . clinical review. Ready to reach anyone who needs it. $2,500. Sponsors an entire module within a course. Your name is permanently credited as its founding supporter. The module carries your belief that this work matters.
$13,000. Builds one entire course. Twelve courses exist in the full programme. Each one costs this. Each one reaches over a thousand Australians who would not have had access to anything like it otherwise.
$0. A reshare, a repost, or a message to someone who might care. Reaches 200 more people and costs you nothing except a few seconds and the belief that this is worth sharing.
Why we are telling you all of this
We believe that if you contribute your money to something meaningful, you should know where it goes and how it helps. Your contribution to KanYini Earth becomes a course. That course reaches a person. That person learns how to see someone. That someone feels seen. And from there, the ripple moves in directions neither of you will ever trace.
One person learning how to show up for another person is worth something: it can change rooms, it can change teams, it can change homes, and it can even change the direction of someone’s life. That is not small. That is the entire point.
